An Insta-worthy Itinerary for a Day with friends (Or By Yourself) in NYC (Soho/Nolita).

Some days are for drinking, some days are for tourism and some days are for content. So many people can google "Cute brunch spots," but if you don't know locations, walking distances, and understand those time frames- you just can't put together a solid itinerary. (Scroll down for a Solo Day)

Any good content day is going to start with an aesthetically pleasing brunch, we know this. I would recommend Short Stories for top tier pink content, but reservations are not easy to get so here's some fallbacks-

Jacks Wife Frieda, Shoo Shoo Nolita, Citizens, Shuka, Nomo Kitchen Soho, Seamore's.

If you still can't find a reservation - choose Dudley's (doesn't take reservations but they're right next to the cutest open window coffee shop, put your name in and stroll the area.)

From there we're going to head to Pietro Nolita. It's a go to Insta spot, strolling through the streets of Nolita you'll run into plenty of spots that'll trip your trigger as well. Walk to Broadway to shop in Soho and enjoy the aesthetics this place will offer you. Continue on until you're at Posh Pop Bakery. I assume you know with every itinerary you will be walking plenty. This is New York City.

Take your goodies (try the cinnamon roll, MY GOD,) to Washington Square Park to truly take in New York City. My favorite park changes often depending on time of day, but a weekend day in Washington Square Park is filled with so much energy, it's my absolute favorite then and there.

Now you can go home, refresh, or throw on a light jacket and take to the streets for an aesthetically pleasing dinner- Sveta, Jajaja, Lola Taverna, Baby Brasa are all sure fire hits. I don't like the food but if you're feeling mini tacos and margs, head to Tacombi- the location couldn't be more convenient, and if you're here for content over substance then there you go!!

Hot tip for some substance though- stroll over to Five Guys- not for the burgers, but if you walk to the back, you'll find steps to a cool speakeasy with a good crowd. Cheers, you had a good day, and you definitely got the shot.

SOLO DOLO DAY

Okay so you're taking your tripod? Even better. Start with a bagel and head to Washington Square Park- enjoy your time there, bring a good book. I love that aesthetic for you.

Then take the long walk through Greenwich to Soho. I usually put Zara in my GPS and it'll take you right where you want to go. A little shopping and exploring will lead you to plenty of empty streets where you won't have prying eyes there for your Solo shot.

The great thing about New York is that nobody's paying attention to you- so don't be nervous about asking someone to take a shot or bringing your own stand. You'll never see these people again.

Now if you're REALLY walking today, I would head to Nolita to find a coffee shop with soft light, there's plenty. Bluestone Lane, Cha Cha Matcha, Cafe Integral.

If you're not feeling the extra hour of walking time to enjoy the tranquil break in the city that is Nolita- just head straight to the East Village to go thrifting. Start at Flamingos Vintage Pound, you'll be on a strip with Cloak & Dagger and 9th Street Vintage, and then you can stop at Buffalo Exchange and L Train Vintage.

At the end of both of these days, you should be K.O.ed, exhausted but so pleased with how much you've accomplished, I'm proud of you!!
