We all know the big named venues, Madison Square Garden, Barclays. The classics- Webster Hall and Bowery Ballroom but it's summer, that calls for some specialty spots. There's no shortage of venues that will be putting on shows all Summer long but here's a condensed list of certified great spots.
Pier 17
We have Blue's Traveler, Jason Mraz, Blackberry Smoke, The Allman Betts Band Spirit of the South, Lord Huron, Rebelution, Simple Plan, Need to Breathe, Slightly Stoopid & more at the coolest spot on the water.
JONES BEACH.
Lady A, Jason Aldean, Jimmy Buffett, Luke Bryan, 3 Doors Down, Kings of Leon, , Thomas Rhett, Zac Brown Band, Dave Matthews, Dierks Bentley, The Jonas Brothers and more are all playing at this amazing East Coast Red Rocks. It's a trek from the city, but well worth it.
BRIC IS BACK.

One of my favorite memories from 2018- The free concert in Prospect Park. Free to RSVP and a guaranteed great night. Make your own Lollapalooza.
Naumburg Orchestral Concert Summer Series
ELSEWHERE ROOFTOP
A very cool Brooklyn rooftop with shows that don't disappoint. Get familiar with a new artist, there's so many amazing creators in this city, this is a great spot to discover something new. Lineup here.
ASTORIA PARK
Astoria Park is having a Waterfront Concert Series. If you're in the area, I would stumble over there after a few drinks on 30th Ave and enjoy some music. Don't expect top tier performances but for a Johnny Cash tribute band type night, here you go.
