TacoVision is my favorite restaurant for Taco Tuesday at the moment. That's huge. But while I'm totally cool stopping by a hole-in-the-wall for some cheap tacos and margs, that fact that this place is just so COOL, with such a huge menu and strong drinks- bar none.

The downside is of course the area, no one is often around 53rd street but if you're anywhere near it or near any train that goes to 53rd or 59th- GO HERE.

EVERYDAY from 5-7pm they have $7 margs, add in a Tequila Floater for $4, $10 Nachos and Veggie Nachos as well as 2 Al Pastor or Brussel Sprouts Tacos for $6. So you can have an entire meal here and leave stumbling out for under $25 bucks.
Not only that price point but the SEATING. Outdoor seating on the streets is lively and beautiful, they don't skimp on aesthetic features. The rooftop patio is a flawless ambiance that makes you feel like you're at a true 5 star restaurant and anywhere you're seated inside is an equally attractive experience. There's neon signs and an industrial feel, bright during the day but dim at night to make for a great date ambiance. I love the versatility of this place.
I ordered the birria tacos because I LOVE birria tacos. I was a little disappointed in a $25 plate of 3 tacos with no sides- not even consome?? The menu said consome I did not get consome. Rice? Beans? Nowhere to be found. But damn, they were some good tacos.

I had this place when they first opened too and I've about had em all, though they've switched up their menu since. They're great, the spicy shrimp is a big reco- though I'm very excited to try the Chicken Shwarma.
Essentially the big plates ($25) don't seem to be as worth it as paying the $9-$11 for an order of 2 tacos, because you're getting an extra taco at least for $6 less.
This place also has Tequila Flights and a BOTTOMLESS TACOS/MARGARITAS BRUNCH. Cannot wait to come back for endless tacos- this place is a 10/10.
