Top Beer Gardens in New York City.

I don't know what it is, maybe the concept of being transported to another city in another country or maybe just the sheer space that Beer Gardens offer- but something has caused these babies to POP off. So here's the list of the most relevant of spots throughout the city-

Lower Manhattan

Loreley Beer Garden

I would only come here with a group and a reservation during weekends or you'll never get a spot in the back garden but an ideal location for a work week day!

Meatpacking

The Standard Biergarten

This is the elite one to me, strictly for the crowd and the scene. Brass Monkey around the corner, Le Bain just above you and you're primo Meatpacking District to grab some great food, play some ping pong and enjoy.

Brooklyn

Brooklyn Beer Garden

With street art and 10,000 square feet this place is so industrial Bushwick it's sure to be a huge hit with your friends. Three Diamond Door was my SPOT back in my Bushwick days, for a great dive bar and shitty back bar dance floor, head here after. For a more classy evening, set up a movie day at Syndicated before or after the Garden. Rebel Cafe & Garden also has a great outdoor setup if you're out and about in the area.

Radegast Hall

Such an iconic spot in Williamsburg, location wise. Big long tables and decor set up exactly like you're in Germany- my man was extremely turned on by the mass amount of beer options, they did boast their own beer as well. This spot just can't be duplicated, so close to the water and to the heart of Willyb.

Gowanus

The Yard at Threes Brewing

Gorgeous patio with stringly lights and as any good Brooklyn establishment it's collaborating with local shops- food from the Meat Hook and coffee from Ninth Street Espresso along with a few other rotating breweries.

Greenpoint

Spritzenhaus33

I've walked by this place a million times to witness a million people packed in there having the time of their life. If it's too packed for you there's great vintage and local shops in the area and Berry Park, an amazing BK rooftop right around the corner. Or just pick up a case and head to McCaren Park across the street for a picnic!

Upper East Side

Bierhaus

I walk by it all the time, I see it upstairs surrounded by all these skyscrapers, I've just been meaning to get in there. They're going to charge an extra few bucks for being a rarity in the area but if you're around, it looks like a diamond in the rough.

Treadwell Park

There's also a location in Battery Park, but so spacious on the inside already and now with the additional outdoor dining this place is a gem on the UES.

Tuttles

A secret spot I stumbled into a long time ago looking for a work HH. A surprising space you wouldn't expect from the unassuming outside but a lovely time and a great post work spot.

Astoria

Katch

I had so much fun here! Big European crowd so go for a soccer game- here's your sports bar/beer garden spot for buckets of White Claw and towers of beer.
