Ayza Wine and Chocolate bar is the best spot in the city to catch up with a girlfriend. They give you a chocolate with every martini, there's a good HH from 4-6pm with a chocolate martini, melon mule, tropical sangria all for $10 but their shining glory is their wine and chocolate flights!
I love fun drink flights for first/second dates because even if the conversation is slacking you can just talk about the drinks. As for girlfriends, the menu was created for you to sit back and enjoy girl talk the way it was meant to be- over wine and chocolate.
Whether you're in their little twinkly lit up garden or in their trolley out front, the setting is pure perfection. NoMad is never super convenient for me but it ends up being a great meeting point a lot of times and since it's not in a heavily trafficked area Ayza's not ever super packed making it a cozy, intimate spot.

You're also right next to Koreatown for some Korean BBQ and not too far from Kips Bay/Murray Hill if you'd like to end this classy evening.. not so classy.
